On November 14, 2025, the Prime Minister signed Decision 2486/QD-TTg approving the Strategy for the development of Vietnam's cultural industries to 2030, with a vision to 2045, emphasizing the Project "Building and promoting the National Brand: Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards for the period 2030 - 2045".

According to development targets, by 2030, Vietnam's cultural industries are expected to achieve an average growth rate of 10%/year, contributing 7% to GDP, the labor force will increase by 10%/year, accounting for 6% of the total labor force, and export value will increase by an average of 7%/year.

In particular, by 2045, Vietnam's cultural industry aims to have revenue accounting for 9% of GDP, labor accounting for 8% of the total workforce, over 80% of products being digital products and export growth reaching 9%/year. Vietnam will become a developed country in the cultural and entertainment industry in the region, affirming its position on the world cultural industry map.

The Decision also stated that, along with other cultural industries (such as cinema; fine arts, photography and exhibitions; performing arts; software and entertainment games; handicrafts; cultural tourism ; creative design; television and radio; publishing), advertising is identified as one of the key industries in Vietnam's cultural industry development strategy.

The project “Building and promoting the National Brand: Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards for the period 2030 – 2045” continues to be the core foundation of the advertising industry. The award not only honors outstanding works but also creates a healthy creative environment, encourages innovation and promotes social responsibility in each advertising message.

Over the seasons, the Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards (also known as Van Xuan Awards) initiated, directed and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Advertising Association has grown strongly in both scale and quality. In 2023, it attracted only 1,000 entries, bringing together less than 200 brands and more than 150 accompanying experts. In 2024, this number increased to more than 1,200 entries with 350 brands.

In 2025, the Awards attracted more than 1,500 works, 400 brands and nearly 200 domestic and international experts, demonstrating the growing appeal and influence of Van Xuan Awards.

In particular, in 2025, a series of professional activities will be organized systematically and on a large scale, such as: International Forum "AI in Creative Advertising: From Data to Emotion" attracting more than 400 domestic and foreign experts, opening up new perspectives on the intersection between technology and creativity; Creative Advertising Career Forum connecting more than 30 businesses with more than 1,500 students and young creators, helping young people orient their careers and explore potential in the industry.

This year's Gala honoring and awarding ceremony at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) for three days from December 19 to 21, 2025 promises to bring sophisticated, emotional and community-connected experiences with the participation of a series of major brands and prestigious guest artists. In addition to the award ceremony, accompanying activities will create a space for sharing, learning and connecting for experts, businesses and the young creative generation.
