Approval of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project in May 2025

The Ministry of Construction has requested the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to urgently implement the necessary work to approve the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project in May 2025.

The Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway construction project is being invested in under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, specifically a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract. The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is the competent authority for investment implementation; the consortium of investors, including Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company, Hung Thinh Group Joint Stock Company, and Nam Mien Trung Group Joint Stock Company, is the project proposal investor.

The Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway has a total length of 66km, passing through the provinces of Dong Nai and Lam Dong. This expressway has a design speed of 80km/h and is being developed in two phases. The total investment for phase 1 of the project is nearly 18 trillion VND. The Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway project is being implemented across 16 communes and wards in 4 districts and 1 city in Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces. Land acquisition is being carried out on a full scale (roadbed width of 22m), with an estimated total land requirement of approximately 500 hectares (including resettlement areas), comprising over 86 hectares in Dong Nai and over 414 hectares in Lam Dong.
