On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, in the morning session, with positive information, the stock market increased immediately after opening.
At the end of morning trading, VN-Index stopped at 1,687.69 points, up 2.79 points.

In the afternoon session, the market increased by more than 9 points at times, then reversed and decreased due to strong selling pressure.
At the end of the session, VN-Index reached 1,680.9 points after falling 4 points (-0.24%); VN30-Index decreased 1.36 points (-0.07%) to 1,875.39 points.
Market breadth was tilted to the downside with 210 stocks going down and 114 stocks going up. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing in price was 16 and 13 respectively.
The industry groups with decreasing scores dominated; in which raw materials, vehicles and components, and real estate all decreased by more than 1%.
In the real estate group, the two pillar codes VIC and VHM took away the most points, 2.47 points and 1.68 points respectively. Thus, the total points these two codes took away were more than the number of points the VN-Index lost in this session.
Banking stocks helped the market not to fall further when 5 codes were present in the group of 10 codes contributing the most to the VN-Index; in which MBB and CTG contributed 1.25 points and 1.14 points.
Software and services; healthcare equipment and services; essential aviation trade; banking; telecommunications services; professional and commercial services; food, beverages and tobacco; essential goods trade; and transport are the sectors that move against the market.
Liquidity reached over 41,000 billion VND. The bright spot in the market was foreign investors net buying. This group bought over 4,600 billion VND and sold over 4,564 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the total transaction value reached VND2,400 billion. At the end of the session, the HNX-Index stopped at 278.98 points, down 1.71 points (-0.61%); the HNX30-Index decreased 8.62 points (-1.39%), to 612.07 points.
