Although joining the Tet film race late, "Den Am Hon" still attracted much attention from audiences, media and experts. The film explores the theme of family, ancestors with the connection between yin and yang, imbued with mystery but still full of humanity.

The spiritual settings imbued with Vietnamese folklore throughout the film create a cold, mysterious atmosphere, taking viewers from one surprise to another.

This is the debut film of director Hoang Nam, inspired by "The Tale of Kieu", recreating the image of Vu Nuong with a new approach, blending spiritual and action elements. "The Ghost Lamp" is not only a dramatic and mysterious film but also a journey in search of roots, imbued with folk culture, where spiritual elements serve to convey cultural messages.

In addition to the film premiere, the launch event of "Den Am Hon" also brought many interesting activities imbued with spiritual culture, in which the most prominent activity was the New Year fortune telling activity that attracted enthusiastic response from the cast and guests. This activity not only helped to stir up the event atmosphere but also had a special meaning, helping the audience feel more clearly the spirit of the film, where folk beliefs and Vietnamese cultural traditions are subtly integrated.

This is one of the films with the youngest cast in the 2025 Tet season. However, the acting of the characters in the film is still highly appreciated by experts and audiences, especially the scenes with complex psychological developments between the past and present.

The diverse combination of actors from both the North and the South helps create authenticity and intimacy in each scene. The elaborately staged action scenes also bring a satisfying cinematic experience to the audience.

The film's strength lies in its depiction of folk spiritual elements, such as: sleep paralysis, ghosts hiding in bamboo bushes... The visuals also impress with the majestic Cao Bang setting, neat costumes and good special effects in most scenes. The cast is young but plays their roles very well and brings the audience eye-catching, impressive and suitable footage for Vietnamese audiences.

"The Ghost Lamp" officially opens in theaters nationwide from February 7, 2025 (10th day of Lunar New Year)
