Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phuong inspected the organization of the election of village and neighborhood chiefs in Ha Long City and Cam Pha City.

On December 4, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation inspected preparations for the election of village and ward chiefs for the 2025-2027 term in Ha Long City and Cam Pha City.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the preparation for the election of village and neighborhood chiefs in Yet Kieu 4 area, Tran Hung Dao ward, Ha Long city.

In Ha Long City, the People's Committees of 32/32 communes and wards of the city have proactively issued decisions to establish 243 election teams/243 villages and neighborhoods, with 1,732 members. The city has fully disseminated and implemented contents related to the election of village and neighborhood chiefs; promoted extensive propaganda about the election of village and neighborhood chiefs for the 2025-2027 term in many appropriate forms.

Up to now, the work of personnel consultation, official list of candidates and posting of voter lists have been carried out in accordance with the correct procedures. Villages and wards are actively reviewing and updating voter lists; preparing necessary conditions to ensure the election takes place as planned.

In Cam Pha City, 174/174 villages and neighborhoods have completed personnel consultations to introduce 182 candidates for village and neighborhood chief. Of these, 149 people were re-elected and 33 were newly elected; 8 neighborhoods introduced 2 candidates. Villages and neighborhoods are focusing on firmly grasping and maintaining security, order and social safety before, during and after election day; propagating, proactively grasping public opinion of cadres, party members and people; resolving voters' recommendations and issues that cadres, party members and people are concerned about.

After directly inspecting the election preparation work at the grassroots level, listening to the results report and suggestions from the localities, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the close direction and proactive spirit of Ha Long City and Cam Pha City in the preparation work for the election of village and neighborhood chiefs. He noted that wards and communes in the two localities need to continue to review and update the voter lists accurately and completely. Preparations must be fully implemented so that the election can be conducted democratically, equally, legally, safely, economically and truly be a festival for all people.

In addition, localities need to pay attention to and grasp the situation of the people, public opinion, voters, especially recommendations, concerns, concerns and places where there are prolonged and unresolved cases; have plans to absolutely ensure safety, security and order for the election, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.

He emphasized that candidates need to present clear plans and actions during their term; promote the spirit of "5 truths - 6 dares" to truly be worthy of being exemplary village and ward chiefs, with prestige and responsibility, meeting the expectations and trust of the people.
