The conference aimed to promptly and comprehensively implement important legal documents, contributing to raising awareness and compliance with the law among officials, Party members, and the people; and to concretize key tasks regarding legal dissemination and education as directed by the Central and local authorities.
The delegates were briefed on the basic contents of the Law on Cybersecurity, a law regulating the protection of national security in cyberspace, preventing and handling acts that violate cybersecurity; and the Law on Forensic Examination, which regulates the organization and operation of forensic examination, contributing to ensuring objectivity and accuracy in litigation.
The Law on Judicial Expertise was passed by the National Assembly on December 5, 2025, and officially came into effect on May 1, 2026; the Law on Cybersecurity (amended) was passed by the National Assembly on December 10, 2025, and officially came into effect on July 1, 2026.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Nhi, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, emphasized: The dissemination and implementation of laws are of great importance in the context of digital transformation and the current requirement to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of judicial activities; she requested that legal lecturers focus on clearly conveying the core points, relating them to practical situations, helping learners to grasp and correctly apply legal regulations to their work.
At the same time, following the conference, agencies and units need to continue organizing extensive propaganda, bringing the content of the laws into daily life, contributing to building a sense of respect for the rule of law throughout society.
