Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Tax Department Dang Ngoc Minh emphasized: Decree 70 is an important legal document, marking a strong reform step in digital transformation of tax management. The amendment and supplementation of regulations related to invoices and documents not only contributes to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of tax management but also helps prevent increasingly sophisticated fraud.
At the conference, representatives of the International Tax Policy Department (Tax Department) informed about the new points of Decree 70, focusing on 6 main groups of contents. Notably, the regulations create convenience and transparency for taxpayers; strengthen solutions to prevent and combat fraud in the use of electronic invoices; clearly define the responsibilities of the parties involved in the process of using electronic invoices; simplify the management of personal income tax deduction documents and electronic receipts... In addition, the representative of the Tax Department said that the process of managing electronic invoices and documents will also be comprehensively revised to comply with Decree 70, replacing the old processes.
On this occasion, representatives of regional tax departments participated in discussions and contributed opinions on the electronic invoice management process, standard invoice data format, risk management criteria as well as the draft circular guiding the implementation of Decree 70...
