At the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Duy - Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee recalled the historic moment on September 25, 1958 when Uncle Ho visited and talked with cadres, soldiers and people of the province at Yen Bai town stadium. This was a great event, a sacred memory, forever engraved in the minds and feelings of every cadre, soldier and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

Over the past 65 years, the Party Committee and people of Yen Bai have always kept in mind and steadfastly implemented Uncle Ho's teachings. Right from the first year of the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued a Plan on building and replicating advanced models and typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2021-2025. In particular, it clearly defines the criteria for building 10 types of collective models and 3 types of comprehensive and diverse individual models in all areas of social life.

Up to now, the whole province has had over 7,800 collectives and individuals registered to build advanced models of studying and following Uncle Ho, double the number compared to the 2015-2020 period.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated Yen Bai province for developing a specific plan and organizing the commendation, reward, honor, and replication of good people and good deeds; promptly encouraging collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following beloved Uncle Ho.

At the same time, it is emphasized that, in addition to the achieved results, there are still shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome, such as: some places are still confused in directing and leading the construction of advanced models and examples; some models are not sustainable and effective, especially production and business models. Emulation and reward work is still limited by ratio, structure and quantity, leading to the commendation and reward not really commensurate with the effectiveness of models and examples.
