Meeting with people at the landslide site, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc kindly visited, encouraged and shared the difficulties with the affected families, hoping that the families would soon stabilize their spirits and overcome the difficulties. At the same time, he gave support to 9 households whose houses were damaged by landslides, each household 3 million VND, from the Fund for the Poor of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
After surveying the actual landslide at Long Quoi 2 Hamlet, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested the Department of Construction and the Department of Agriculture and Environment to survey and re-evaluate the actual situation, to develop long-term solutions to handle and overcome the landslide; survey the traffic volume of waterway and road vehicles, and regulate the load of vehicles appropriately when passing through this landslide section. At the same time, re-evaluate the flow; and post signs warning of landslide risks.
Attention local authorities, urgently take care of social security for affected households and quickly coordinate with relevant units to support resettled households and soon stabilize their lives.
