Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee visited and worked in Hoa Hoi and Hoi Son communes.

(GLO) - On the morning of July 15, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee visited and worked at Hoa Hoi and Hoi Son communes on the operation situation after implementing the 2-level government model.

Hoa Hoi Commune is a newly established commune based on the merger of Cat Hanh and Cat Hiep communes (old Phu Cat district). The commune currently has a total natural area of 87.06 ^km2 with a population of 26,133 people. After the merger, the Party Committee and People's Committee promptly appointed leaders and assigned tasks to each cadre, civil servant and public employee. The Commune Public Administration Service Center operates smoothly, meeting the needs of processing records and administrative procedures in the locality.

Hoi Son Commune is also a newly established commune based on the merger of two mountainous communes, Cat Lam and Cat Son (old Phu Cat district). The total area of the commune is 182.34 ^km2 , with a population of over 14,300 people. Up to now, the operation of the organization, assignment and arrangement of commune cadres are basically stable, with the right expertise and job position.

Besides the advantages, the communes still have some difficulties, such as limitations in information technology; unsynchronized data systems; lack of facilities and equipment, weak human resources; lack of investment funds for necessary items for the new government apparatus to operate more effectively.

Speaking at the working sessions, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of Party committees at all levels and commune authorities in perfecting and smoothly operating the new government apparatus, initially creating trust among local people.

He requested that departments, branches and sectors promptly connect and support localities to remove difficulties and obstacles; promote information technology training for local cadres, civil servants and public employees; ensure smooth operation of the political system and the Public Administration Service Center to meet people's needs.

He also requested that communes focus on implementing work in key areas such as land, resources, environment, education and training, and effectively implementing the State's policies for policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the locality. Strive to complete socio -economic development targets in 2025 and the following years. Prepare well for the upcoming Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

On this occasion, comrade Lam Hai Giang also presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to Hoa Hoi and Hoi Son communes.
