The 2024 high school graduation exam took place from June 27-28 with a total of 1,071,393 candidates registering for the exam.

According to teachers, the Math, Physics, and Chemistry exams of the 2024 high school graduation exam have good classification. In particular, in Math, many teachers believe that the number of 10 points will be very small because of the high differentiation in the last group of questions.

Previously, in 2023, there were 3 candidates who were co-valedictorians of block A00 of the high school graduation exam with 29.35 points, one candidate in Bac Giang , one candidate in Ho Chi Minh City and one candidate in Hung Yen.

After announcing the high school graduation exam scores, according to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, no later than July 19, the Departments of Education and Training will consider recognizing high school graduation.

No later than July 21, the Departments of Education and Training will update the Examination Management System, send reports on the results of the high school graduation recognition to the Ministry of Education and Training, and announce the high school graduation results.

No later than July 23, the Principal of the high school will issue a temporary graduation certificate; return the transcript and related certificates (original) to the candidates. The examination councils will print and send the certificate of exam results to the candidates.

From July 17 to July 26, the exam registration units will receive appeal applications and create an appeal list.

No later than August 4, the Examination Councils will organize a review of the exam papers (if any).

No later than August 9, the Departments of Education and Training will consider recognizing high school graduation after review.

No later than August 15, the Departments of Education and Training will send the list of candidates recognized as high school graduates to the Ministry of Education and Training.
