At the inspection of the implementation of the 2025 Autumn Fair at the National Exhibition and Fair Center this afternoon (October 19), Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son requested "Completing the preparations for the 2025 Autumn Fair on schedule".

According to the report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , up to now, the work of organizing the 2025 Autumn Fair is basically being carried out by ministries, branches, localities and related organizations on schedule.

Agencies, organizations and businesses have started construction from October 17, 2025 on schedule and are committed to completing it before October 22, 2025 to hand over to businesses displaying goods for the final rehearsal on October 24, 2025.

It is expected that about 2,500 businesses and organizations will register to participate in the Fair with about 3,000 booths, covering the entire exhibition area of ​​the Exhibition Center building, including about 80 booths of foreign businesses (mainly machinery, equipment, raw materials for production).

The number of products displayed at the Fair is rich and diverse in the fields of heavy industry, light industry, cultural industry, science and technology, agricultural products and processed foods, trade services, consumer goods, etc.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has assigned its units to organize 10 specialized seminars, online export forums with Alibaba, Amazon, and B2B trade conferences for international buyers brought back to the country by Vietnamese trade offices abroad. Currently, 25 international business delegations have registered to trade at the Fair.

At the meeting, ministries, branches and units reported on the progress of each item of preparation for the fair. Regarding the work of ensuring security, safety, health, hygiene and food safety at the fair, Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said: "The Department of Health has developed a plan to ensure health and food safety at the fair. At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade has assigned the Market Management Department to arrange staff to ensure that goods brought to this fair must be of the best quality, ensuring all requirements related to the management of goods brought to the fair."

Regarding ensuring the transportation routes to take people to the exhibition center, Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized: In addition to the two transportation routes that have been deployed, the Hanoi City has assigned the Department of Construction to arrange 6 more transportation routes from 4 directions to the exhibition with a frequency of 15 minutes per trip. The department is currently seeking opinions to be able to partially support the costs for people to travel to this Exhibition Center.

Regarding communication work, representatives of Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam said that they have continuously promoted and widely reported news about the 2025 Autumn Fair on radio and television channels.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son requested that the Ministry of Industry and Trade - as the standing agency - proactively urge, inspect and use technological means to connect and monitor online the construction progress of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises, ensuring the right progress.

The Ministry of Public Security coordinates with the Guard Command and Hanoi City Police to deploy measures to ensure absolute security, safety and order for the opening and closing ceremonies and the entire duration of the Fair. For the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it is necessary to soon complete the detailed script for the opening and closing ceremonies of the fair.

Emphasizing the need to ensure the quality of goods and products at the fair, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son stated: "Hanoi will ensure the quality management of goods and products at the 2025 Autumn Fair must meet the highest standards and quality."

To the Hanoi People's Committee, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the responsibility of ensuring comprehensive security, health, fire prevention and fighting, food safety and hygiene, and product quality. The city must resolutely eliminate poor quality, fake, and unknown origin goods; and at the same time, perfect Hanoi's exhibition space to become the central highlight of the Fair.
