Deputy Prime Minister visits and celebrates Christmas in Binh Thuan

At Phan Thiet Bishop's Palace, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quan informed about Vietnam's socio - economic situation in 2023. The Deputy Prime Minister said that in the context of the country being affected by complicated developments in the world and the region , under the wise leadership of the Party and State, the direction and administration of the Government, and the joint efforts of the entire political system and people of the whole country, the country's socio-economic situation continued to grow, foreign affairs achieved many important results, political security and social order and safety were maintained and stabilized.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed,   The achievements in the past year have the efforts and positive contributions of Catholic compatriots . Comrade Tran Luu Quang hopes that in the coming time, Bishop Giuse Do Manh Hung - General Secretary of the Vietnam Bishops' Council , Bishop of Phan Thiet Diocese, together with priests and monks in the diocese , will promote their role and mobilize Catholic compatriots to continue to comply well with the Party's policies and the State's laws . Continue to accompany localities , other religions and people of all walks of life to preserve, promote and spread good cultural values; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, continue to contribute to the common development in all aspects of economy and society . On the occasion of Christmas 2023 , the Deputy Prime Minister sent his best wishes to Bishop Giuse Do Manh Hung , priests, monks and Catholic compatriots to celebrate a peaceful and happy Christmas and a good new year .

Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung expressed his joy at the great achievements that Vietnam in general and Binh Thuan in particular have achieved in the past year, notably the completion and putting into operation of the expressway through Binh Thuan province , and the successful organization of the National Tourism Year 2023. Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung sincerely thanked the deep concern of the leaders of the Party, State, Government, and Binh Thuan province in the past time for always creating favorable conditions for the Phan Thiet Diocese to operate stably, as well as on important holidays of Catholics.

In the coming time, Catholics of Phan Thiet Diocese will continue to implement the State's policies and laws, live a good life and practice good religion, actively participate in emulation movements launched by the locality to build the homeland and country more and more prosperous.
