
In Tam Xuan commune, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, Secretary of the Youth Union, said that the Youth Union had coordinated with Ly Tu Trong Primary School to organize extracurricular activities to raise awareness about preventing drowning and injuries among students throughout the school. The activity attracted a large number of students with many practical and relevant contents.
Students are equipped with basic knowledge to identify the risk of drowning in daily life, especially in areas such as rivers, streams, ponds, canals, or unregulated swimming areas. Through specific illustrative scenarios, students better understand the risks that can arise from a lack of adult supervision or carelessness when interacting with water. In addition, the presenter guides students on safety skills when participating in water activities, such as not swimming alone, always having an adult present, and using life jackets and other necessary protective equipment.

The Hoa Tien Commune Youth Union also focuses on preventing drowning among children. According to Nguyen Dinh Thinh, Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, the locality is strengthening education on knowledge and skills to prevent drowning for students, while also integrating it into the activities of the Youth Union and children's movements.
Recently, the Youth Union of the commune, in coordination with Hoa Tien No. 1 Primary School, organized a training session with practical content such as rescuing drowning victims using lifebuoys, ropes, and sticks; how to properly wear and use life jackets; and safe accident handling and first aid skills. Mr. Tran Kim Trung, the school's Deputy Principal, said that the school currently has 987 students, therefore equipping them with drowning prevention skills is essential, helping them proactively protect themselves and assist others in case of an accident.

The Thanh Khe Ward Youth Union recently organized a thematic activity on preventing injuries and drowning accidents for students at Ham Nghi Primary School. The content was presented in a lively manner through short plays and question-and-answer sessions, making it easy for students to understand and remember.
Students are provided with knowledge about the causes and consequences of drowning, how to identify accident risks and injuries, and are guided on prevention and handling skills when incidents occur. According to Mr. Mai Hong Anh, Secretary of the Thanh Khe Ward Youth Union, these activities contribute to raising awareness and equipping students with self-protection skills, especially during the summer.
