The Russian army is still maintaining the initiative on all fronts. According to Ukrainian media, Kiev forces are having difficulties due to bad weather.
Ukraine’s air defenses were “lost in the fog” as Russian drones and missiles continued to attack. At least seven large explosions were heard in the Mykolaiv area. One of the key targets targeted by the Russian military was the local Armored Vehicle Plant, where Ukraine repairs NATO-supplied tanks and armored vehicles.
Other Russian strikes were confirmed in Cherkassy as well as on the Sumy and Zaporozhie fronts. A US-made HIMARS system used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Koshary region near the Russian border was also destroyed. In the Chernihiv region, another Russian precision strike destroyed an ammunition depot and a maintenance point for HIMARS systems.

Affected by the continuous Russian attacks in the rear, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are under pressure and have been forced to retreat in many places. In Donbass, Russian troops are advancing on the streets of Torezk, two-thirds of the city is now under their control.
Ukrainian defenses around Chasov Yar are also collapsing. Russian forces have recently entered the city and taken control of several high-rise buildings in the northern sector. At the same time, they are advancing into the suburbs to take the city in a pincer movement. In the north, Ukrainian forces have lost another major stronghold; while in the southeast, Russian assault groups have crossed the canal and taken control of a strategically important road junction. A further Russian advance toward Konstantinovka would threaten both the Ukrainian garrisons at Chasov Yar and Torezk.
In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian army is rapidly losing control of territory. Efforts at the “hot spots” of Tolsty Lug and Lyubimovka have yet to yield results. Meanwhile, Russian attacks are intensifying in other directions, including the Malaya Loknya region in the east and Plekhovo.
