On the morning of April 29, a video clip was circulated on social media showing a man rushing into a classroom, shouting loudly, hitting a female teacher on the head, then dragging her out of the classroom and continuing to assault her in the rain.

In the video, the man calls himself "you", "I", "you come out and stand (in the rain - PV)". Many students and parents stood on the porch witnessing the entire incident.

The incident caused outrage in the online community, with many people calling for the man to be identified and punished.

According to investigation, the incident was determined to have occurred on the afternoon of April 28 at Bac Thang school, more than 10km from the main school Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An .

Leaders of the Departmentof Education and Training of Quynh Luu district confirmed that this morning the department received information and initial report of the incident from the school.

According to initial information, after school, it was raining heavily and the wind was strong, so teachers and students stayed to take shelter from the rain and wait for their parents to pick them up.

When he arrived at the classroom, a parent suddenly started yelling and then assaulted the teacher in front of many teachers and parents. Despite someone trying to stop him, the man continued to be violent.

The man in the clip is HVT - parent of a 4th grade student at this school.

The teacher who was assaulted was NTKN - the homeroom teacher of combined class 3 and 4.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district added that after the incident, the teacher and the school reported to the police and Tan Thang commune authorities for clarification.
