Phu Luong: Actively supporting cooperatives and cooperative groups to develop

In recent times, from the support of the Central and the province, Phu Luong district has actively supported cooperatives and cooperative groups to apply science and technology to production, processing and consumption of products, such as: Supporting VietGAP and organic certification for over 1,100 hectares of tea, 62 hectares of fruit trees, 92 hectares of rice; supporting a water-saving irrigation system of 56.5 hectares; supporting over 1,000 rolling machines, 117 stainless steel tea roasters, 8 electric tea roasters...; nearly 46,000 QR code stamps; supporting product promotion...

In addition to the support of relevant levels and sectors, cooperatives have also proactively built and developed their strong products. Thanks to that, Phu Luong district has had 28 more OCOP products ranked 3 stars or higher. Accumulated to May 2025, the whole district has 35 OCOP products, of which 13 products are recognized as 4-star OCOP, the rest are 3-star OCOP.
