Women in Phu Thuong ward join hands to overcome "5 bottlenecks"

On the afternoon of May 18th, the Women's Union of Phu Thuong Ward organized a conference to disseminate information on identifying and addressing the "5 bottlenecks" of Hanoi city, linked to local realities. The activity aimed to raise awareness and promote the role of female officials and members in building a civilized urban environment.

At the conference, delegates were informed about various aspects of ensuring urban order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, preventing law violations, and building a civilized urban lifestyle – key tasks that Hanoi is focusing on to improve the quality of life for its citizens.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Huy, Deputy Head of Phu Thuong Ward Police, provided information on urban order, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation in the area. He also analyzed existing problems such as sidewalk encroachment, illegal parking, public order violations, and improper waste disposal, and proposed several solutions to strengthen management, public awareness campaigns, and enforcement, while promoting the role of citizens and socio- political organizations in addressing the city's "five bottlenecks."

Through the conference, female officials and members gained a better understanding and sense of responsibility in maintaining urban aesthetics, complying with traffic safety regulations, protecting the environment, and building a civilized lifestyle in the community.

According to Ms. Do Thi Phuong Lan, Chairwoman of the Phu Thuong Ward Women's Union, the ward's Women's Union has identified the dissemination of information and mobilization of members to overcome "bottlenecks" as a key task; and hopes that each official and member will become an active communicator, contributing to spreading awareness of law compliance and building a civilized urban lifestyle.

* Also on the afternoon of May 18th, the Women's Union of Phu Thuong Ward organized a communication program in response to the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign with the participation of representatives from Ajinomoto Vietnam Company; at the same time, in coordination with Yakult Vietnam Company, they provided health care advice and information to female officials and members.

Through practical activities, the Women's Union of the ward continues to accompany its members in improving their knowledge of smart consumption, healthcare, and building prosperous, progressive, and happy families.
