In addition to traditional homemade silk threads, people also buy ready-made raw materials such as thread and wool of various colors from Thailand to reduce labor and product costs. The price is cheap, the labor is not worth much, but the women still stick with the job, still keep the job because it is the soul of the village, the unique feature of the ethnic people... In addition to weaving in each family, many women also gather in one household and weave brocade together as well as pass on the craft to their children and grandchildren. Ms. Vi Phon - Head of the Women's Association of Buoc village said: "The brocade products of the women mainly serve the needs of themselves and their families and are mostly exported to Laos. From the traditional weaving profession, each month, after deducting expenses, each worker still has an income of 2-3 million VND/month. Photo: Hoai Thu
