Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee has 152 affiliated Party Committees; 2,166 grassroots Party organizations (558 grassroots Party Committees, 1,608 grassroots Party cells) and over 256 thousand Party members.
Immediately after the two-level local government model officially came into operation, the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee focused on leading and directing the preparation for the congress of the Party Committee at the grassroots level directly above for the 2025-2030 term. The preparation work for the congress was carried out methodically and thoroughly in terms of program, content; propaganda work, security and order, and logistics.
The Subcommittee of Documents for the Congress of Delegates of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee (after the merger) issued Guidelines on drafting documents to submit to the Congress of Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee and Party Committees at the commune level (after the reorganization) for the 2025-2030 term, which specifically stipulates the structure, content, and method of summarizing practices, emphasizing the focus on the implementation results of the previous term's resolutions, while determining the directions and goals for the new term to ensure they are close to reality and highly feasible.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee has established 7 working groups led by 7 Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee to review the Congress documents of 152 Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee. In order to ensure the progress and time of the congress, the working groups have worked actively with a high sense of responsibility, often working overtime, including in the evening.
By July 20, all 152/152 Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee had completed the document approval process. In addition, based on the registration schedule for the Congresses of the affiliated Party Committees, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee established 29 working delegations, assigned to attend and direct the Congresses of the affiliated Party Committees for the 2025-2030 term.
Comrade Bui Dinh Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee informed: Many Party Committees have paid attention to and invested in improving the quality of suggested discussions at the congress; the suggested content is specific, closely following the key, central issues, practical to the situation of the locality, agency, and unit. 35/152 Party Committees provided congress documents via QR code scanning. 62/152 Party Committees chose the form of presenting the Political Report with illustrated images or reports.
Party committees at all levels have done a good job in political ideology, information, propaganda, gratitude, organizing delegations to visit martyrs' cemeteries; presenting gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services before the opening of the congress; organizing incense offerings to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at places with memorial sites or historical sites where Uncle Ho visited or offering incense to show gratitude to the Hung Kings who had contributed to building the country.
The Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee has appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and personnel for leadership positions of the People's Council, People's Committee of communes and wards. Specifically: The Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee has 4,023 members; the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee has 1,547 members. The province has completed the staffing of 148 wards and communes.
The successful organization of the congress of the Party Committee at the grassroots level and the Party Committee of the commune and ward is an important premise for Phu Tho province to unify the will to act, direct consistently and consistently, towards the Provincial Party Congress and the National Party Congress.
