Phu Tho and Viettel cooperate in many fields

On the afternoon of August 21, Phu Tho province signed a cooperation agreement with Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group on many fields related to digital transformation, logistics development, and two-level local government management solutions.

Phu Tho Province and Viettel Group signed a cooperation agreement for the 2025-2030 period.

Attending the signing ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong; Chairman and General Director Viettel Group and Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang have agreed to implement many long-term cooperation contents.

Phu Tho Province and Viettel Group have signed a cooperation agreement for the 2025-2030 period, focusing on effectively implementing assigned tasks and goals according to Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 71 of the Government for many fields; focusing on digital transformation tasks and projects.

Viettel Group proposed to provide comprehensive consultancy to the province and deploy digital platforms, information systems, and databases in the fields of finance-investment, industry and trade, healthcare, education, tourism, construction, transportation, agriculture , environment, journalism, etc.

The Group wishes to deploy 4G mobile coverage throughout the province, ensuring that there are no more 4G signal gaps; at the same time, expand 5G coverage, passive telecommunications infrastructure, and fiber optic network infrastructure in necessary areas to help strengthen network infrastructure, prevent natural disasters, and develop the province's socio-economy.

This enterprise is also ready to advise and support the province in data planning to build a centralized database for the whole province; build smart cities, smart communes/wards in a streamlined direction, making maximum use of modern technologies; provide training on digital transformation; build social housing; invest in logistics projects.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong hoped that Viettel Group would mobilize resources and experienced experts to join forces and accompany the province; prioritize supporting the province in piloting and implementing the most advanced solutions and technologies in the field of digital transformation; and pay attention to researching and implementing investment projects to develop key industries, core technologies, and logistics.

Phu Tho province commits to creating favorable conditions for the Group to access socio-economic development plans and projects; develop science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; research and invest in developing telecommunications infrastructure, information technology, and high-tech industry.
