The Van Tu Craft Village Industrial Cluster Project has a scale of 6.6 hectares, with a total investment of 185.7 billion VND. This is one of the four craft village industrial clusters that the city has decided to establish in Phu Xuyen district, along with the industrial clusters: Phu Tuc, Phu Yen , Dai Thang.
Van Tu craft village industrial cluster is planned with synchronous technical infrastructure with full items: Internal traffic, water supply and drainage system, wastewater treatment plant, transformer station, lighting system, fire prevention and fighting system, operator house, green tree planting and landscape area, petrol station, production support services...
The project is designed to serve the traditional industries typical of Van Tu commune such as garment, fashion , leather shoe production, mother-of-pearl inlay, handicrafts... The investor prioritizes attracting clean industrial production enterprises, applying modern technology, using resources effectively, and minimizing environmental pollution.
According to Vice Chairman of Phu Xuyen District People's Committee Nguyen Trong Vinh, the project's groundbreaking is of great significance to the district's socio -economic development. The project not only solves the problem of lack of production space for households and businesses in Van Tu commune, but also opens up opportunities for planning and reorganizing production, ensuring requirements on fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation and sustainable development of craft villages...
After completing the technical infrastructure, the district prioritizes attracting secondary investors who are households and businesses in the district, especially traditional production facilities with difficulties in terms of land or pollution in residential areas.
“The project provides clean land for craft villages to move out of residential areas, while opening up opportunities to form a value chain of production - processing - consumption of craft village products associated with tourism, contributing to diversifying the local economic growth model,” Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Trong Vinh emphasized.
In the coming time, Phu Xuyen requires the investor to focus resources on accelerating the construction of technical infrastructure according to the approved plan, ensuring quality, progress, labor safety and the environment. The district also assigned specialized departments and offices to closely coordinate with Van Tu commune and the investor during the project implementation process, creating favorable conditions for the project to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The investor representative also committed to focus all human and financial resources to ensure the project is implemented on schedule and with quality according to the approved plan.
