Bach Mai Ward passed a resolution on renaming residential groups.

Bach Mai Ward People's Council resolved to rearrange and rename 108 residential groups in the previously rearranged wards.

On the afternoon of July 21, the People's Council of Bach Mai ward, term I, 2021-2026, held its second session to discuss and approve many contents under its authority.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Bach Mai ward reviewed, discussed the submission and voted to approve the draft Resolution on the Report on the direction of implementing the key tasks of socio -economic development in the last 6 months of 2025 of the ward; the submission and draft Resolution on the local budget estimate and allocation of the ward budget in 2025.

Notably, the meeting discussed and passed a Resolution on renaming residential groups.

Specifically, the Ward People's Council decided to arrange and rename residential groups in Bach Mai Ward, including 108 residential groups of previously arranged wards.

For residential groups after the administrative unit arrangement, the new residential group name will be chosen according to the method of numbering from 1 to 84 to ensure compliance with the leadership of the residential group's Party cell committee.

Pay attention to inheritance, minimize post-arrangement disturbance; number in order from North to South, from East to West, according to each pre-arranged ward: Thanh Nhan, Bach Khoa, Le Dai Hanh, Quynh Mai, Bach Mai, Minh Khai, Truong Dinh, Dong Tam and Phuong Mai ward.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Bach Mai Ward, Tran Quyet Thang, emphasized that over the past time, the entire political system and the people of the ward have seriously and effectively implemented the conclusions and directions of the Central Government and the City. In particular, they have focused highly, proactively, responsibly, methodically and comprehensively in implementing the organizational arrangement and have completed the quality assurance according to the required schedule.

Chairman of the Ward People's Council Tran Quyet Thang emphasized that with the important contents approved at this session, the Ward People's Council hopes and calls on all cadres and people to join hands and unite with the Party Committee and the government to determine to build Bach Mai Ward and the Capital to develop sustainably.

Immediately after this meeting, Mr. Tran Quyet Thang requested that units, according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers, immediately start implementing the tasks; with high political determination, high concentration, organize urgent, drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of the resolutions of the Ward People's Council.
