In the flooded fields, the working atmosphere was urgent. The forces and people harvested rice and transported it to a safe gathering place. The sound of the harvester mixed with laughter and encouragement created an atmosphere of solidarity and determination to complete the harvest early.
Mr. Do Van Quy, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward, said: "The entire ward has about 36 hectares of rice of 127 households in Ngoc Tri residential group that were flooded. To limit damage to the people, the People's Committee of the ward mobilized maximum local forces, and at the same time reported to the Provincial Military Command to direct Regiment 831 to send forces to support and speed up the harvest progress.
