Dinh Cong Ward launches the 2026 Month of Action for Children.

On the morning of May 29th, the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward organized the launching ceremony for the Month of Action for Children and the opening of summer activities for 2026 with the theme "Happy, safe, and confident children in the digital age".

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, emphasized that the explosion of digital technology brings children many opportunities to access knowledge but also poses many risks such as cyberbullying, harmful information, and fraud. Therefore, this year's Action Month for Children is an opportunity for the entire political system to enhance its responsibility and protect children from new challenges.

In recent times, Dinh Cong ward has carried out many practical activities, such as: donating hundreds of gifts during Tet and Humanitarian Month, and maintaining subsidies for disabled children. In particular, the locality has paid great attention to accident and injury prevention through the installation of drowning warning signs in pond and lake areas.

To ensure a truly enriching and safe summer vacation, the Steering Committee for Summer Activities in Dinh Cong Ward is focusing on implementing a diverse range of activities. The main focus is on free swimming lessons, English classes, training in accident and injury prevention skills, and safe internet use. In addition, the locality will maintain the effective "Weekend Playground" model, organize children's forums, book presentation competitions, and children's football tournaments, creating spaces for children to develop comprehensively both physically and mentally.

In addition, to strengthen the management and education of students during the summer months, representatives from schools and the Youth Union of the ward signed an agreement to hand over the children to local communities for activities.
