Hoa Thuan Ward held a meeting to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Hoa Thuan Ward was established on January 5, 2005, based on 380 hectares of natural area and 2,612 inhabitants from two villages of Tam Dan commune (Phu Ninh district) and 177.5 hectares of natural area and 3,169 inhabitants from five residential blocks of Tan Thanh ward (Tam Ky city).

When it was first established, over 70% of Hoa Thuan ward's population lived on agricultural production, and the poverty rate was 7.3%. Over the past 20 years of construction and development, the economy has made a breakthrough, developing rapidly with increasingly synchronized infrastructure and facilities.

The economic structure is shifting rapidly towards modernization; in which, the value of industry and handicrafts accounts for 62.27%, trade and services account for 35.63%, and agriculture accounts for only 2.1%.

With the achievements made, the Party Committee, government, and people of Hoa Thuan ward were honored to receive the Third-Class Labor Medal from the Party and State, the Government's Flag for leading the emulation movement in 2009, the Provincial People's Committee's Flag for outstanding emulation for three consecutive years (2018-2020), and the ward's Party Committee was assessed as having excellently completed its tasks for three consecutive years (2018-2021).
