Phu Thuong Ward pays tribute to families of war invalids, martyrs and meritorious people

The gratitude ceremony was solemnly held at the Hanoi Martyrs' Cemetery and Mai Dich Cemetery with the participation of officials, party members, and relatives of martyrs' families in the area.

Officials, party members, and relatives of martyrs' families in the ward offered incense and flowers to respectfully commemorate the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Before the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Thuong ward vow to maintain great solidarity, continue to promote revolutionary traditions, strive to excellently fulfill tasks, and contribute to building a civilized and prosperous capital.

According to Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Council Nguyen Quoc Ha, the series of gratitude activities held on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day is an opportunity for the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Thuong to express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution. Thereby, it demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude" and the sacred responsibility of today's generation towards the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs and families of those who have contributed to the revolution.

This is also an opportunity to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and patriotism; to demonstrate the care of the Party, State and local authorities for families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services.

On this occasion, Phu Thuong ward organized a visit and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and outstanding people with meritorious services in the ward.

Kindly inquiring about the health of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with outstanding meritorious services, the leaders of Phu Thuong ward expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the families to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Respectfully acknowledging the contributions of families of meritorious people, Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Council Nguyen Quoc Ha expressed his hope that the families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, thereby actively contributing to the development of Phu Thuong Ward and Hanoi Capital.
