A 2000 Porsche Boxster S has just been listed for sale on eBay for $100,000. The car's special feature is that its exterior is modeled after the Porsche Carrera GT supercar. The entire familiar body of the Boxster S has been replaced with the exterior of the Carrera GT, which is more than 300 mm longer than the original model. Instead of keeping the original soft top structure, the owner of the car modified it to a targa style, allowing the roof to be removed similar to the Carrera GT supercar. The rear compartment is also supplemented with the characteristic honeycomb mesh of the Carrera GT model, however, the 5.7L V10 engine of this supercar cannot be seen. The overall interior of this Porsche Boxster remains the same with a brown/black color scheme. The center armrest area is also repainted in red like the exterior. The first generation Porsche Boxster (code 986) was produced from 1996 to 2004. The car for sale has a 3.2L 6-cylinder boxer engine with 252 horsepower. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The seller also said that the transmission has been upgraded with a new clutch to optimize driving feel. After nearly a month of posting, the car has yet to find a new owner at the price of $100,000. On the used car market, this convertible model has an average price of about $16,000. Meanwhile, the Porsche Carrare GT has an average price of up to 1.4 million USD. This is the brand's top supercar before being replaced by the 918 Spyder.
