PTSC Phu My offers incense and presents gifts on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 26, 2025, the Veterans Association in coordination with the Youth Union of Phu My Petroleum Services Port Joint Stock Company (PTSC Phu My) organized a series of activities to pay tribute, visit and present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and typical war invalids in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the beginning of the program, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the martyrs' cemetery in Ba Ria ward, Ho Chi Minh city. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the members of the delegation observed a minute of silence, expressing their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country. Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to mother Tran Thi Duong (born in 1928) and mother Tran Thi Luong (born in 1932), currently residing in Tam Long ward. These are mothers whose children sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Representatives of the delegation kindly asked about their health and life and expressed their gratitude for the silent and noble sacrifices of the mothers and their families.

The program continued with a visit and gift-giving to Mr. Pham Van Nho (born in 1958) - a former guerrilla, 41% disabled veteran, currently being treated for complications due to shrapnel at Ba Ria Hospital. During the emotional meeting, Mr. Nho shared his war memories and affirmed his resilient spirit and efforts to overcome difficulties in daily life. The delegation expressed their admiration for the vitality and will to rise up of the previous generation, who have contributed to today's independence and freedom. Although each gift is not of great material value, it is the sincere sentiment and deep gratitude of PTSC Phu My youth to those who have devoted their youth and blood to the country.

The activities to honor the War Invalids and Martyrs Day are an important occasion to educate the young generation on the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, fostering gratitude and national pride. In the coming time, PTSC Phu My will continue to organize many practical programs, spreading the spirit of gratitude and good morality of PTSC people.
