Bac Tu Liem District promotes the spirit of national unity.

Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of November 8th, Hoang Trong Quyet, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, attended the National Unity Day celebration at Xuan Loc 1 residential area, Xuan Dinh ward, Bac Tu Liem district.

At the event, Nguyen Kim Bang, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of the Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Loc 1 residential area, reviewed the traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the VFF's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

For nearly 94 years, consistently implementing the strategy of national unity, especially during the more than 35 years of reform, the National United Front, now the Vietnam Fatherland Front, has creatively applied Ho Chi Minh's thought on national unity to suit the situation, requirements, and tasks of the revolutionary cause.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) proudly affirms its leading role and position in emulation movements and campaigns, creatively applying lessons learned in gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity. The VFF mobilizes all strata of the people to work together, gradually overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and build and develop the country.

Over the years, under the leadership of the Party Branch, the Front Committee of Xuan Loc 1 residential area and its affiliated organizations have successfully completed their assigned tasks. The residential area's cadres possess sufficient qualities, ethics, capabilities, enthusiasm, and responsibility, and always maintain unity in carrying out their duties.

Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Hoang Trong Quyet, presented flowers to congratulate and encourage the people of Xuan Loc 1 residential area, Xuan Dinh ward.

The Front Committee has effectively propagated, mobilized, and maintained the model of "Civilized, Safe, and Self-Governing Residential Area"; and implemented the movements "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life," "All People Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas," etc. 100% of households committed to building residential areas that are "bright, green, clean, beautiful, civilized, safe, and self-governing"; 593 out of 615 households registered as culturally exemplary families.

In 2024, the residential area had 590 households achieving the title of "Culturally Advanced Family" (95.9%), and the residential area itself achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Residential Area". Donations to the "For Vietnam's Seas and Islands" Fund reached 6 million VND; donations to flood victims affected by Typhoon No. 3 reached nearly 53 million VND; and various essential goods for the "For the Poor" Fund amounted to over 13 million VND.

Hanoi City Party Committee leaders presented 10 gifts to 10 exemplary cultural families.

The People's Committee mobilized the public to contribute over 10 million VND to install 8 security cameras; and installed 22 new public fire hydrants worth over 10 million VND.

Presenting flowers and giving a speech of encouragement to the people of Xuan Loc 1 residential area at the Great Unity Festival, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet expressed his joy at the achievements in building cultural life and implementing patriotic emulation movements that the officials and people of the residential area have achieved in the past year.

Secretary of the Bac Tu Liem District Party Committee Luu Ngoc Ha, along with district leaders, presented flowers to congratulate and encourage the people of Xuan Loc 1 residential area, Xuan Dinh ward.

The head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee also expressed his hope that the leaders of Xuan Dinh ward and Bac Tu Liem district would continue to pay attention to and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people in order to thoroughly and promptly resolve the people's requests.

Following the National Unity Day, the district will compile the suggestions and recommendations from the people in the area to develop a plan and direction for resolving them.

In addition, the Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee expressed his wish that the people of Xuan Loc 1 residential area continue to uphold the spirit of national unity to build a residential area that is secure and safe in terms of social order, fire prevention and control, and ensuring the health of the people.

At the event, the city presented 10 gifts to 10 exemplary cultural families and 10 families in difficult circumstances; Bac Tu Liem district presented 10 gifts to 10 households in difficult circumstances; and Xuan Dinh ward presented 5 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Xuan Loc 1 residential area.
