Hanoi, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City honored on the world's largest tourism platform

Travelers' Choice Awards are annual awards that recognize destinations, accommodations, and restaurants for their outstanding service. The awards are based on millions of reviews and feedback from the international travel community through Tripadvisor, the world's largest online travel platform .

On January 9, the US-based travel platform officially announced the results of the first category of the 2025 award called "Best of the Best Destinations".

This category includes 5 main sub-categories: Top Destinations; Trending Destinations; Culture Destinations; Food Destinations and Honeymoon Destinations.

Additionally, there are two new subcategories: Solo Travel Destinations and a special subcategory celebrating Tripadvisor's 25th Anniversary Destinations.

Ranked 7th in the list of Top Destinations this year, Hanoi is highly appreciated for having both the bustling, modern, youthful features of a developing city, while still retaining the nostalgic, old features with long-standing historical and cultural relics and architectural works.

Tripadvisor emphasizes that Hanoi has many lakes and shady parks, with open spaces for residents and tourists to immerse themselves in nature. In addition, more than 600 ancient temples and pagodas throughout the capital are also ideal places to explore for foreign tourists.

Hoi An ranked 11th on the list, loved for its architecture as well as its nostalgic, old-fashioned lifestyle.
