Accordingly, 17 wards established a group to collect people's opinions according to the residential group or residential area. Each group has 9-11 people and 1 member is the group secretary. The group leader is the Party cell secretary or the head of the residential group; the group members are representatives of prestigious political -social organizations and people in the residential group, and local police.
The group leader makes a list of households by residential group or area; assigns members to go to each family to distribute ballots to voters representing the household; or distribute ballots at residential group meetings on two contents: Plan to arrange new ward-level administrative units to be formed in the district; proposed names of new administrative units.
Dong Da District currently has 17 wards, including: Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy; Phuong Lien - Trung Tu, Kham Thien, Kim Lien, Khuong Thuong, Thinh Quang, Lang Ha, O Cho Dua, Quang Trung, Trung Liet, Cat Linh, Hang Bot, Nam Dong, Phuong Mai, Tho Quan, Van Chuong, Lang Thuong. After the arrangement, Dong Da District is expected to have 5 wards: Dong Da, Lang, O Cho Dua, Kim Lien, Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy.
The entire district will collect public opinions on April 20 and 21, 2025 (Sunday and Monday). The completion date is no later than April 21, 2025. The People's Committees of the wards must summarize and report the results of collecting public opinions to the District People's Committee.
The District People's Committee will synthesize the opinions of the people in the area, prepare the content to submit to the District People's Council meeting to issue a Resolution approving the policy to implement the plan to rearrange the commune-level administrative units in the area. Dong Da District will synthesize the results and report to the City People's Committee no later than April 25, 2025.
