Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son signed and issued two decisions to impose administrative penalties on the legal entities managing the karaoke establishments Ngan Ha and Paris Club.
Specifically, the Hanoi People's Committee determined that Ha Trung Tourism and Trade Company Limited (the legal entity managing the Ngan Ha karaoke facility in Thanh Cong ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) had committed two administrative violations.

In particular, the violation of not implementing the written request on fire prevention, fighting and rescue of the competent authority was fined 8 million VND; the violation of organizing strip dancing for guests at karaoke service business establishments was fined 180 million VND.
The total fine is 188 million VND, with the additional penalty of revoking the service business license for 21 months.
The Hanoi People's Committee also determined that MEDIA STAR Entertainment Services Joint Stock Company (the legal entity managing the Paris Club karaoke facility in Thanh Liet commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi) had failed to comply with the decision to suspend operations according to the law on fire prevention and fighting, and was fined VND 80 million (no additional penalties were applied).
Previously, the press reported on the illegal pornography services operating at Paris Club karaoke bar and Galaxy karaoke bar, which took place amid many serious fires.
