Ngo Quyen District fosters patriotism for nearly 140 young men preparing to join the army

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 24, nearly 140 young people ready to join the army and perform their duties as the People's Public Security of Ngo Quyen District in 2024 attended the Patriotism Training Class organized by the Ngo Quyen District Political Center in coordination with the District Military Command and the District Police.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Director of Ngo Quyen District Political Training Center spoke at the training course.

This is a program organized annually by the Ngo Quyen District Political Center to help young people who are ready to join the army and perform the People's Public Security service understand the most common issues of Vietnamese patriotism and the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; about the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army; about the history of the Party, the history of the City Party Committee and the Ngo Quyen District Party Committee. From there, foster revolutionary ideals, build and strengthen the belief and pride in the patriotic tradition of the nation, the sense of responsibility of the young generation in participating in building and defending the Fatherland. Encourage the spirit, motivate and create motivation for young people in Ngo Quyen District to be ready to join the army and perform the People's Public Security service.

At the class, students listened to the topic of Vietnamese patriotism in the new stage of the Vietnamese revolution; an overview of the Communist Party of Vietnam; an overview of the tradition and history of the Ngo Quyen District Party Committee.
