Caring for and improving the lives of the people in Son My coastal commune.

On September 25th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son My commune, Lam Dong province, held its first delegate congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, and 110 official delegates representing various strata of the commune's population.

Comrade Tran Thi Dinh Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune for the 2024-2029 term, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Following the merger, Son My commune has strived to effectively implement the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of the commune for the 2024-2029 term, achieving many practical results. It has gradually reformed its content and methods, improved quality, and focused on residential areas to propagate, mobilize, and consolidate the great national unity. Ethnic groups are a crucial foundation for stability and development.

Cultural and artistic performances to welcome the Congress.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune actively mobilizes the people to agree on the implementation of the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and local political tasks. It actively promotes democracy, representation, and the protection of the people's legitimate rights and interests, and participates in monitoring and contributing to the building of the Party and Government.

Leveraging the role of member organizations, the Front Committee, and exemplary individuals in the community, we will promote humanitarian and charitable activities, care for the poor, protect the environment, maintain social order and safety, prevent crime and social evils, and ensure traffic safety.

Comrade Nguyen Le Thanh, Secretary of the Son My Commune Party Committee, delivered a speech guiding the Congress.

The Congress set forth a specific action program for the 2025-2030 term, including: disseminating information, mobilizing and uniting all strata of the people, strengthening social consensus, and promoting the strength of national unity.

Continuing to innovate and diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of the people, in order to firmly consolidate the great national unity in the period when the country enters the "era of the Vietnamese nation's rise," contributing to building Son My commune into an increasingly developed area.

Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, presented flowers and a photograph of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang to the Congress.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My commune, based on a clear identification of the potential, advantages, and challenges in the coming period, will continue to follow the guidance of the Central and Provincial authorities; closely adhering to the Resolution of the Son My Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030. In particular, it will focus on building a great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus to create a solid foundation for the comprehensive and sustainable development of Son My commune.

Given its characteristics as a coastal commune with many large industrial projects, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune needs to focus on promoting its central role in uniting and gathering all strata of the people, mobilizing all resources and the spirit of cooperation from all strata of the people in building great national unity.

Pay attention to and care for the lives of workers, fishermen, and disadvantaged households in industrial zones. Promote the role and resources of businesses and companies in movements and campaigns to encourage production, economic development, and social welfare activities in the locality.

Improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, promote democracy, and participate in building the Party and the political system. Adhere closely to Directive No. 18-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat and the guidance of the Central and provincial authorities to improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism at the local level.

At the same time, we will promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns that make worthy contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring social order and safety, and national defense and security in the locality.

On the occasion of the Congress, Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, on behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented flowers and a photograph of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang, the beautiful symbol of national unity, to the Congress.

The Congress voted to approve the action program for the 2025-2030 term.

The consultative congress elected 49 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My commune, term 2025-2030; and elected 5 members to the Standing Committee. Ms. Tran Thi Dinh Huong, a member of the Party Committee's Standing Committee, was elected as the Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My commune, term 2025-2030.
