Reporting at the conference, in the first 6 months of the year, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Cao Bang province proactively implemented many diverse, practical and effective exchange activities. The affiliated branches organized and participated in many meaningful programs and activities, such as: Organizing a youth delegation to participate in tree planting and afforestation activities in Sung Ta, the "Hand in Hand" children's exchange in Guangxi; participating in the "March 3rd" festival in Tinh Tay and Sung Ta; the Provincial Women's Association attended the ASEAN Women's Forum in Nanning; the districts organized to welcome the Chinese delegation to exchange on the occasion of the traditional New Year, folk festivals, and twinning villages on both sides of the border...

In July 2025, the Association organized activities to pay tribute to martyrs, such as visiting the Vietnamese martyrs' cemetery in Thuy Khau town (China) and the Chinese martyrs' cemetery in Thuc Phan ward. These activities contributed to strengthening friendly neighborly relations, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment in the border area and enhancing understanding and solidarity between the people of the two sides.
In the last 6 months of 2025, focus on 6 key groups of tasks: strengthening propaganda on the Party and State's foreign policies and guidelines; consolidating and developing the branch system, especially in potential border communes; diversifying financial resources through socialization; expanding cultural and sports exchanges with neighboring localities; organizing seminars and thematic activities on the occasion of important holidays and anniversaries and encouraging each branch to maximize its proactive and creative role in performing assigned tasks.
Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Cao Bang province requested the Association to proactively advise and propose coordination contents suitable to the new situation; continue to innovate operating methods, expand the organization of branches in localities after the merger, in a number of schools, industries and businesses with potential.
Along with that, strengthen propaganda on the foreign policies and guidelines of the Party and State; promote the image of Vietnam and Cao Bang to the Chinese people. Focus on directing activities to the grassroots, closely coordinate with relevant organizations to prepare well the contents of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950 - 2025), contributing to strengthening solidarity, building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and sustainable development border.
Cao Bang province is located in the Northeast of Vietnam, with more than 333km of border adjacent to Guangxi province (China) with many international border gates and openings. In recent times, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Cao Bang province has actively coordinated with the departments, branches and sectors of the province to gradually and effectively implement the political tasks of foreign affairs - people's diplomacy.
