Keeping up with the "wave" of digital transformation, in order to further promote the value of heritage, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has made many innovations, creativity, and strongly applied science and technology to promotion, propaganda, and visitor outreach activities. In particular, the center has promoted the development of convenient technology products and services such as: Building applications to support tourists, applying 3D explanation technology, integrating QR codes to listen to automatic explanations, digitizing artifacts at the exhibition booth by taking photos, numbering, and updating information on artifacts... In particular, in recent times, the center has organized photo and video contests with the content of promoting and propagating the beauty of the land and people of Tay Do, the World Cultural Heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel on digital platforms.
Following the success of the summer photo video contest with the theme "Brilliant Ancient Capital", the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has recently coordinated with Pham Van Hinh Secondary School (Vinh Loc) to launch the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Contest through short video clips on the tiktok platform with the theme "I am a tour guide of my hometown's heritage". Accordingly, students in grades 6, 7, and 8 of Pham Van Hinh Secondary School will use images taken during the contest launch to create short clips introducing the history of formation, unique features of architecture, culture, artifacts, labor and production activities, and daily life of people and communities; customs, practices, festivals, traditional craft villages, and typical local specialties of Vinh Loc.
Images, videos, clips with commentary, voiceovers are lively and creative (presentations with bilingual Vietnamese - English or English - Vietnamese translation are encouraged). Students act as tour guides. In addition to meeting the criteria of good, attractive, creative topics, content, good quality videos, images, presentations..., attracting many likes, shares, and high interactions will be the "scoring" factor. The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the contest is expected to be held in November 2025. It is known that within the framework of the ceremony, the center will organize the 3rd Golden Bell contest with the theme: "Ho Dynasty Citadel - 10 years of capital, 2 dynasties, 1 destination".
The competitions organized by the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center such as “Brilliant Ancient Capital”, “I am a heritage tour guide of my hometown” or the Golden Bell competitions are practical and meaningful activities within the heritage education program in the spirit of “learning while playing, playing while learning”, connecting the young generation with cultural and historical values through creative forms and interesting experiences. Participating in these competitions not only creates opportunities for students to explore the beauty of the land of Tay Do, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage but also spreads the love of heritage through creative photo videos. The entries are posted on social networks, attracting millions of interactions, contributing to promoting the image of the heritage to a wide audience at home and abroad, promoting tourism development.
