Quang Binh: Opening of Bang mineral spring tourism product

NDO - On the evening of August 14, in Le Thuy district, Truong Thinh Group Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province to organize the opening ceremony of Bang Onsen Spa & Resort.

Attending the event were Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang; leaders of Quang Binh province; along with tourists and local people.

Bang Onsen Spa & Resort Phase 1 project has a total investment of more than 1,100 billion VND, including 3 functional areas: Bang Villa area with 92 rooms and 2 restaurants; conference center and 2 Onsen bathing areas; An Bai Villa area and Cay Bong Villa area including restaurant complex, water park bathing area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Doan Ngoc Lam said that the Bang hot spring resort and rehabilitation project is identified as a key project of the province, investing on a large area.

This project is expected to effectively exploit Bang hot spring, while creating a "boost" for tourism development in the Southwest of Quang Binh.

According to the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, Bang mineral spring and Dong Chau-Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve are valuable natural resources and an interesting eco-tourism destination in the southwest of Quang Binh.

Truong Thinh Group's investment in building Bang Onsen Spa & Resort not only exploits and promotes the potential of this mineral spring with a boiling point of up to 105 degrees Celsius, but also serves as a convergence and connection point for many famous cultural and historical tourist destinations in Le Thuy district such as Hoang Phuc Pagoda, General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial House, and Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh Mausoleum.

Another important thing is that this new tourism product also contributes to solving the "seasonal problem" that has long been a concern of the Quang Binh tourism industry, especially in winter.

The special thing is that Bang stream is located in the mountainous commune of Kim Thuy, Le Thuy district, so the indigenous cultural elements are always emphasized. Currently, Bang Onsen Spa & Resort has nearly 100 employees who are Bru-Van Kieu people working.

They are directly trained in tourism services by experts from Japan so that they can start working immediately when the project officially comes into operation. Thereby, the project creates many jobs and brings stable income to local workers, contributing to sustainable social security.

Vietnam Record Organization awarded a certificate to Bang stream - the stream with the highest boiling point in Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded a certificate for Bang spring - the spring with the highest boiling point in Vietnam to the General Director of Bang Onsen Spa & Resort.

Truong Thinh Group also presented 300 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to 300 poor Bru-Van Kieu ethnic households in Kim Thuy commune.
