On April 28th, the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate eco-tourism area in Quang Nam province was officially opened.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee , acknowledged and highly appreciated the determination and commitment of FVG Group in working together to complete and put the project into operation despite facing many significant difficulties and challenges due to natural disasters, epidemics, and limited infrastructure conditions.

"The official opening of the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate eco-tourism area will be a driving force, setting the stage to help tourism in the western mountainous region of Quang Nam create a new and positive impression on tourists from near and far."
"The project also has pioneering significance, contributing to attracting more new investment projects, thereby awakening the potential and enhancing the position and competitiveness of mountain tourism, changing the appearance and landscape of the locality to realize the development goals of the entire Quang Nam province according to the spatial structure model of 'two regions, two dynamic clusters, three development corridors' approved by the Prime Minister, in which the western region is oriented to rise and transform strongly into a magnet to attract tourists to the mountainous region of Quang Nam," Mr. Buu shared.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group , the project's investor, stated: "With persistent efforts, after nearly two years of operation and welcoming guests in phase 1, the tourist area has welcomed over 120,000 visitors. In addition, we have implemented many tourism product packages and continuously launched programs such as the Spring Festival, the 'Dance of the Great Forest' program, etc., contributing to diversifying services and providing tourists with many experiences of nature and local culture at the tourist area."
With the goal of building a core workforce to create jobs, contribute to poverty reduction, and develop the local economy, from the construction phase to operation, the project has recruited nearly 1,000 workers from the Co Tu ethnic minority in the area.
Besides creating a new tourist destination, the project also creates jobs for more than 1,000 Co Tu people, contributing to poverty reduction and economic development in the mountainous district.
In Phase 2 of its operation, FVG Group plans to continue recruiting and training 150-200 local employees for various positions to improve customer service quality. Simultaneously, it will continue to develop programs linked to the local architecture and culture to create unique tourism products, contributing to livelihoods and sustainable tourism development.
This opening ceremony is the prelude to the April 30th and May 1st holidays, kicking off the 2024 summer tourism stimulus program " Quang Nam - Green Land of Heritage ," with Dong Giang Sky Gate being one of the destinations in a 3-day, 2-night tour taking place from May to August 2024.
The project will become a connecting point for heritage sites in Central Vietnam, creating unique tourism products and contributing to unlocking the potential of ecotourism in Quang Nam, giving tourists more choices and experiences when visiting Quang Nam.
