It is expected that on May 23, the two sides will sign a power purchase agreement and at 0:00 on May 24, the power will be transferred from Shenzhou (China) to Vietnam. Currently, the output and price of electricity have not been announced.

To prepare for this, from 3am to 6am on May 22, Mong Cai City Electricity cut off the power to connect the 110kV Mong Cai - Dong Hung line.

According to calculations by the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), the North is at risk of lacking 1,600-4,900 MW of electricity in May and June.
