Quang Ninh establishes Yen Tho Industrial Cluster with a scale of 34.6 hectares

Yen Tho Industrial Park has a scale of 34.6 hectares. The investor in infrastructure construction is Kim Long Joint Stock Company.

The main industries operating in the Industrial Park are processing and manufacturing industries; wholesale and retail; repair of automobiles, motorcycles, motorbikes and other motor vehicles; warehousing and transportation support activities; production of material products and services for household consumption... Excluding some industries that pose a risk of causing environmental pollution.

Yen Tho Industrial Cluster is invested and built to serve the relocation of small-scale industrial establishments that are not suitable for urban planning in the area. The project's operating period is 50 years from the date the investor is decided to allocate land.

Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requests that the investor take full responsibility for the honesty, accuracy and legality of the information, data and documents attached to the proposal; ensure the level of equity, loan capital and mobilized capital; arrange sufficient capital to implement the project according to regulations.

Previously, in early June 2025, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued a decision to establish Quang Thanh Industrial Cluster with a scale of 54.54 hectares, in Quang Thanh commune and Quang Minh commune, Hai Ha district, after being arranged into Quang Duc commune, Quang Ninh province. Thus, up to now, the whole province has established 13 industrial clusters, with a total area of more than 630 hectares.

Yen Than Industrial Cluster with an area of 47.6 hectares in Tien Yen District, Quang Ninh Province has recently started construction. The investor is Tan Dai Duong International Import Export Joint Stock Company.

In the province, there are 6 industrial clusters that have invested in building technical infrastructure and come into operation with a total area of 375.39 hectares, invested in building technical infrastructure and come into operation with a total of 445 secondary projects and more than 5,000 workers, the average occupancy rate is over 70%.

There are 5 industrial clusters investing and implementing steps to prepare for investment in building technical infrastructure such as: Dong Mai industrial cluster, Quang Yen town (area 16 ha); Van Don industrial cluster, Van Don district (area 52.58 ha); Trang An industrial cluster, Dong Trieu city (area 25.54 ha); Yen Than industrial cluster, Tien Yen district (area 48.03 ha); Dam Ha B eastern industrial cluster, Dam Ha district (area 60.01 ha).

To contribute to environmental protection, in recent times, Quang Ninh has made efforts to relocate small-scale industrial establishments that cause pollution or are not in accordance with planning out of residential areas. This is a practical solution to contribute to environmental protection, fire prevention, and building a civilized urban area.

According to the Industrial Cluster Development Plan of Quang Ninh Province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 (approved in Decision No. 80/QD-TTg dated February 11, 2023 of the Prime Minister ), the whole province has 45 industrial clusters with a total area of over 2,700 hectares. Of which, in the period 2021-2030, 36 industrial clusters will be developed with an area of over 2,105 hectares; with a vision to 2050, 9 industrial clusters will be developed with an area of 606 hectares.
