Quang Tri strives to become a new growth pole of the central region.

Informing reporters and delegates, the leader of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee said that the 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 took place in 2 days, from October 4 and 5 at the hall of the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center in Dong Hoi ward, with the participation of 449 delegates.

The Congress will carry out two contents: summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Truong An Ninh emphasized that the theme of the congress is to build a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promote the strength of great national unity and development aspirations; mobilize and effectively use all resources; innovate, create, and digitally transform; turn Quang Tri into a new growth pole of the central region. By 2045, Quang Tri strives to become a fairly developed province, a unique energy, logistics and tourism center of the whole country.

On that basis, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee identified 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, including: continuing to synchronously complete the infrastructure system, improving the investment environment, attracting and successfully implementing dynamic economic projects, building Quang Tri into a clean energy center, a new tourism and service center of the central region; developing science, technology, innovation, promoting comprehensive digital transformation on all three pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society; improving the quality of human resources and staff, especially grassroots staff, to meet development requirements.

The 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee is an important political event, opening a new term with strong belief and aspirations for development of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requests press agencies and reporters to increase the time and volume of propaganda reflecting the outstanding achievements, potentials and great advantages of the locality; identify challenges in socio-economic development to have breakthrough solutions for development in the new period.

Notably, the 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, did not receive congratulatory flowers from localities and units.
