Quang Tri organizes the National Reunification Festival in 2025

On April 24, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it will organize the National Reunification Festival in 2025. The event is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 53rd anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Tri province (May 1, 1972 - May 1, 2025).

According to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, a series of gratitude and commemoration activities, notably the "National Unification" Festival in 2025, will be held at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai special national relic site. This is an occasion to honor historical and revolutionary values, educate patriotic traditions, and strengthen the spirit of national solidarity and self-reliance.

Specifically, within the framework of the festival and these important anniversaries, there will be activities such as: Inauguration Ceremony of the project to preserve and embellish the relic of General Secretary Le Duan's Memorial Site in Hau Kien village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district (April 27, 2025); Live TV Bridge program "Forever the Triumphant Song" at the special national relic of Hien Luong - Ben Hai (April 27, 2025).

Visiting and presenting gifts to a number of policy beneficiaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, and relatives of outstanding martyrs in localities (April 28-29, 2025); "Unifying the Country" Flag Raising Ceremony at the Northern Flag Tower of Hien Luong Bridge - Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Monument (April 30, 2025).

The 2025 Traditional Boat Racing Championship of the "National Reunification Festival" of Quang Tri province, competing for the Huda Cup at the Boat Racing Wharf on the North bank of Ben Hai River (April 30, 2025); Incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, and the special national relic of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel (April 30, 2025).

Through the festival activities held on this occasion, we will contribute to affirming the achievements of the national liberation struggle, encouraging the patriotic emulation movement, and promoting local socio-economic development in the period of innovation and integration./.
