In addition, if the violation of not turning on the car lights as prescribed also causes a traffic accident. In addition to the fine, the driver will also have his/her driving license revoked from 2 to 4 months according to the law.

How much is the fine for forgetting to turn on the motorcycle lights?: Similar to the penalty for not turning on the car lights for cars. When using a motorbike without turning on the lights during the prescribed time while driving or when encountering bad weather that limits visibility and forgetting to turn on the lights, you will also be administratively fined for violating the error of not turning on the lights according to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP.

The fine will be from 100,000 VND to 200,000 VND for driving a motorbike and committing one of the following violations: When driving without turning on the vehicle lights during the prescribed time from 7:00 p.m. the previous day to 5:00 a.m. the next day. Forgetting to turn on the motorbike lights when it is foggy or the weather is bad, limiting visibility.
