On Vietnamese people and vehicles entering and exiting Cam Ranh International Port
For Vietnamese military personnel and military vehicles, the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense shall apply. The Minister of National Defense shall decide and delegate the authority to decide on granting permits and entry and exit permits to Vietnamese civilian personnel and vehicles.
Organizations and individuals wishing to enter or exit the port should contact Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company to register. After receiving the request, Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company will prepare a set of documents according to regulations and send it directly to the competent licensing authority.
Within 1 day from the date of receiving valid documents, the competent authority shall consider, grant permits, and issue entry and exit permits to people and vehicles; in case of refusal, the reason must be clearly stated. After receiving the results, Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company shall notify the organization or individual.
Entry and exit permits issued to officers, employees, workers and vehicles of Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company are valid for 12 months.
Permits for people and vehicles issued by state management agencies at the port; businesses signing long-term contracts with Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company to regularly enter and exit the port are valid for 3 months.
Licensing documents for other cases are implemented according to the working plan at the port of Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company (but not more than 3 months).
Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company coordinated with the specialized force protecting Cam Ranh military base to handle the entry and exit of Vietnamese people and vehicles via the western or eastern routes of Cam Ranh military base.
For Vietnamese crew members and passengers on ships anchored at Cam Ranh International Port, when going ashore, they must present one of the following documents: identity card or citizen identification card, passport or crew book and have their names on the crew list...

Regarding foreigners and Vietnamese citizens residing abroad entering and leaving Cam Ranh International Port, the Minister of National Defense decides and delegates the authority to decide on granting entry and exit permits to Cam Ranh International Port for this group of subjects.
The application for a license includes: A request from Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company or the agency or unit in the Ministry of National Defense in charge of bringing foreigners into and out of the port, along with a list of foreigners; a copy of the passport or valid international travel document.
At least 5 days before the foreigner is expected to enter or leave the port, Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company or the agency or unit in the Ministry of National Defense in charge of the plan must prepare a set of documents according to regulations and send it to the competent licensing authority.
Within 3 days from the date of receiving valid documents, the competent licensing authority shall respond in writing; in case of refusal to grant a license, the reason must be clearly stated.
The agency and unit in charge of the plan will coordinate with the specialized force protecting Cam Ranh military base and Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Company to handle foreigners entering and exiting via the eastern route of the base.
