BHG - On the occasion of preparing to welcome the traditional New Year of the nation, Spring Giap Thin 2024, on the afternoon of January 29, Comrade Nguyen Manh Dung, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, presented gifts and wished a happy New Year to the Border Guard Station of Son Vi, Xin Cai and some border communes of Meo Vac district. Accompanying him were Comrade Tran Manh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Ly Thi Lan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Specialized Delegation of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province; leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command and Meo Vac district.

Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to the Border Guard Stations of Son Vi and Xin Cai; the Party Committee, government and people of the three communes of Son Vi, Xin Cai and Thuong Phung; and presented gifts to policy families, meritorious people, the elderly, poor and near-poor households.

Speaking to the officers and soldiers of Son Vi and Xin Cai Border Guard Stations, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung was pleased, acknowledged and commended the results of the implementation of national defense and security tasks of the two units in 2023, especially the coordination with local Party committees and authorities to implement directives and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and Meo Vac District Party Committee, such as the Directive of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on organizing Tet for people; Resolution on eliminating backward customs, practices and habits, building a civilized lifestyle; Program to support housing construction for people with meritorious services, poor war veterans, and poor households.

Regarding the tasks in 2024, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung hopes that: Officers and soldiers of Son Vi and Xin Cai Border Guard Stations will promote the results achieved in 2023, continue to effectively carry out national defense and security work; always be ready to fight, preserve national border sovereignty , not be subjective or negligent, not be passive in any situation; coordinate with local authorities to ensure security, order and social safety in the area; build a peaceful border for development. In the immediate future, it is necessary to coordinate with Party committees and authorities of communes to take full care of Tet for people, especially policy families, poor households, and meritorious people, so that no family does not have Tet.

The Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the three communes will continue to pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual life of the people; focus on coordinating and implementing measures and solutions to prevent, combat and suppress all types of crimes, especially drug crimes, human trafficking, etc., contributing to building a peaceful, stable and developed border area. Sending New Year greetings to the people of all ethnic groups in the area, the Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that people will continue to overcome difficulties and strive to stabilize their lives.
