Attending the ceremony were comrade Lu Thi Anh Thu, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Women's Union; comrade Pham Van Chuot, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Kim Hat, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune, Chairman of the Commune Women's Union; together with representatives of the Party Cell, the Hamlet People's Committee and a large number of local people.

Comrade Pham Van Chuot, member of the Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, presented the decision to members of the Community Communication Team.

According to the Decision of the Commune People's Committee, each Community Communication Team consists of 7 members, whose task is to propagate and mobilize people to change their thinking and way of life; contribute to eliminating gender prejudices and backward customs; protect women and children. In addition, the teams also carry out communication activities associated with Project 8 under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, 2021-2030, on gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children.

Comrade Lu Thi Anh Thu, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Women's Union of Ca Mau province, presented activity materials to members of the U Minh commune community communication team.

The groups operate on the principles of self-management, democracy, openness and transparency; each month they organize at least one communication activity in the community, combining direct forms and digital platforms such as Zalo, Facebook, etc.

Team members took souvenir photos with local people.

The launch of the Community Media Team aims to promote the proactive role of people, especially women, in propaganda and social mobilization work, contributing to building an equal, progressive, happy and sustainable community.
