Comrade Tran Luu Quang attended the inauguration of 11 works to welcome the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Tran Luu Quang and former Party and State leaders attended the inauguration ceremony of Phan Ngoc Hien Square.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former member of the Politburo , former Chairwoman of the National Assembly; General Le Hong Anh, former member of the Politburo, former Standing member of the Secretariat; Nguyen Thien Nhan, former member of the Politburo, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President; and leaders and former leaders of Ca Mau province.

Delegates performed the inauguration ceremony of Phan Ngoc Hien Square.

Accordingly, there are 11 projects invested with a total cost of more than 2,400 billion VND, including: Phan Ngoc Hien Square ; Ganh Hao Bridge; the monument cluster of the train gathering to the North; the Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La Victory relic ; the history book of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; the yearbook of the heroic Vietnamese mothers of Ca Mau Province ; the Ca Mau Provincial Sports Complex; upgrading the East Sea dyke and the culvert system through the dyke; the Provincial Police Hall; the Bac Lieu Prince Hotel and the high-tech super-intensive shrimp farming project in Dong Hai Commune.

Comrade Tran Luu Quang and former Party and State leaders visited the exhibition space of images, artifacts and documents of Ca Mau province through the ages.

One of the typical projects is Phan Ngoc Hien Square with an area of over 35,000m², a total investment of 278 billion VND, with a 24m high Ca Mau Shrimp symbol, a 28m high national flagpole and a system of 233 artistic musical fountains.

Phan Ngoc Hien Square is not only an iconic architectural work of art, but also a space for cultural, artistic, festival, entertainment activities, connecting the dynamic life and modern urban appearance of Ca Mau.

Comrade Tran Luu Quang and Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited the exhibition booth at the exhibition space.

In addition to projects contributing to the completion and upgrading of infrastructure, the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau also show their gratitude and honor to history and ancestors through the yearbook of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers of Ca Mau province .

The yearbook is a collection of valuable documents about the lives, careers, and great contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers of Ca Mau province through the periods of resistance war and national construction.

Comrade Tran Luu Quang took a souvenir photo with leaders and former leaders of Ca Mau province.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, emphasized that the 11 projects to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, all aim at a common goal of promoting socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, entering the new term with confidence and aspiration for rapid and sustainable development, contributing to creating a new face, improving people's lives, spreading the spirit of pride in the southernmost land of the Fatherland.

Before attending the inauguration ceremony, comrade Tran Luu Quang and former Party and State leaders visited the exhibition space displaying images, artifacts and documents of Ca Mau province through the ages.
