In Na Ri commune, many constructions and infrastructures were significantly damaged. Kim Lu Kindergarten had three buildings flooded, damaging all desks, chairs and learning equipment; Binh Minh village cultural house was deeply flooded, damaging the furniture inside; Na Ri wholesale market was flooded, damaging the goods of about 180 business households. In particular, Na Ri Ethnic Boarding School was isolated, forcing teachers and students to move to a safe place.

After only one week, with the strong direction of local authorities, the support of armed forces and the self-reliance of the people, the work to overcome the consequences was urgently deployed.

Up to now, schools, cultural houses and markets in the commune have been cleaned up and are ready to reopen. Secretary of the Na Ri Commune Party Committee Nong Van Nguyen said: Restoring rural infrastructure is the top priority task, contributing to stabilizing the material and spiritual lives of people after storms and floods.

Not only Na Ri, many other localities in the province have also quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Mr. Pham Quang Anh, Director of the Department of Construction, informed: The industry has mobilized 18 excavators, 42 trucks, coordinated with the Center for Agricultural Extension and Environment, armed forces, militia, socio- political organizations, businesses and people to participate in leveling mud and soil, clearing fallen trees, clearing drainage ditches, cleaning the environment, and collecting waste immediately after the water receded.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment also directed the Center for Agricultural Extension and Environment to mobilize 86 trucks, 32 excavators, along with personnel and equipment to collect, transport, and treat garbage on village roads and alleys, minimizing congestion and pollution.

Thanks to the synchronous coordination, up to now, many central areas of communes such as Phu Binh, Tan Thanh, Diem Thuy, Kha Son, Tan Khanh, Thanh Cong, Van Lang, Cuong Loi, Tran Phu, Con Minh, Xuan Duong... have ensured traffic safety for people and vehicles.

The Education and Training sector also urgently repaired the damage. Although many schools were deeply flooded, with desks, chairs and equipment damaged, within a short time, educational facilities were cleaned, sanitized and repaired to welcome students back to school soon.

Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said: The entire sector has mobilized tens of thousands of working days of officials, teachers and parents, coordinated with functional forces to overcome the consequences, ensuring that schools in rural, mountainous and highland areas are ready to operate normally.

It can be affirmed that despite the great damage, with the spirit of initiative and solidarity, Thai Nguyen has quickly restored rural infrastructure from traffic, schools, medical stations to electricity and water systems. This is an important foundation to help people soon stabilize their lives, restore production and continue to develop the economy and society after the flood.

During the recent floods, the province recorded 1,048 landslides, flooding and other incidents on communal roads. 53 lakes, dams, 3 pumping stations, more than 10km of canals and 13 centralized water supply works were affected and damaged at different levels.

Essential infrastructure also suffered significant damage, with nine medical stations flooded and landslides; 177 schools affected; 150 medium-voltage power poles and 479 low-voltage power poles broken and collapsed, causing local disruptions in the supply of electricity for daily life and production.
