The program's launching ceremony took place at the end of July 23 with the participation of many police officers and soldiers from units and localities, artists participating in the program, along with many reporters from press agencies and guests.
Major General Le Hong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security said: With the consent of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security , the Department of Political Affairs coordinated with Zeit Media Company Limited to organize the first action role-playing reality TV show about the People's Public Security Forces - "Brave Soldiers". This is one of the key propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, contributing to spreading the image of bravery, humanity and nobility of the Vietnamese People's Public Security Forces.
The program honors the great contributions of the Public Security Forces on the front line of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, for the peace and happiness of the people.
Each episode, each story will be a living testament to the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" of the police officers... Through the program, the Ministry of Public Security hopes that the images that the artists portray, along with the realistic footage of daily life and the outstanding achievements of the police force, will touch the emotions and move the hearts of both participating artists and the audience, creating an effect, spreading the values of truth - goodness - beauty, arousing national pride and a sense of social responsibility in the young generation.
Representative of Zeit Media producer - Mr. Le Ba Nam Linh also said that the program "Brave Soldier" has been developed for nearly a year. The program has always received close guidance and dedicated professional advice from the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security and the coordination and support of the Mobile Police Command, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Hanoi Police, Hai Phong City Police, Quang Ninh Provincial Police, Son La Provincial Police. The program's creative team has been allowed to access and exploit "exclusive resources", including a system of advanced and modern equipment, elite forces of the People's Public Security Forces. This has helped the program create eye-catching, authentic, emotional performances, touching the hearts of both participating artists and audiences, thereby creating a strong ripple effect, especially in the youth community.
At the press conference, the program officially introduced the artists participating in the role of soldiers. In addition to the 12 faces previously announced including Tien Luat, Thanh Trung, Kieu Minh Tuan, Quoc Thien, Ngo Kien Huy, Le Duong Bao Lam, Neko Le, Phan Manh Quynh, Lien Binh Phat, Song Luan, Long Hat Nhai, MONO, the program announced 2 new faces in the lineup: rapper Binz and World Tourism King 2025 Hung Nguyen.
The organizers said that the male artists will play the roles of Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, Rescue Police, and Mobile Police; participate in harsh challenges such as intensive physical training, learning how to use modern equipment, and stressful situations in hostage rescue and criminal capture. Notably, the artists will not have any information or script in advance.
Based on real stories and valuable documents from the Ministry of Public Security, the program vividly recreates the CAND soldiers in training and combat. Under the guidance of experienced commanders from the Public Security units, the artists participating in the program not only train physically but also train their will, reaching their limits. This is also the first time the audience has the opportunity to learn more about the "silent heroes" through the experience of famous people in the fields of entertainment, music, cinema and media.
Regarding this program, General Director Mai Tham revealed that “Brave Soldier” is the first reality TV show about the role-playing of the Public Security Forces in Vietnam and is a program 100% created by Vietnamese people. Based on real events, situations and stories in the history of the Public Security sector, the creative team transformed them into simulated drills and combat situations for artists to experience role-playing.
The program gathered more than 500 personnel including production team, artists, actors and more than 200 officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces. More than 70 cameras were mobilized simultaneously, recording every moment of fire, action and emotion - from dramatic close-ups to eye-catching action scenes from above. In particular, the program for the first time publicly displayed images of the People's Public Security Forces' modern equipment - from weapons, specialized vehicles to special technical equipment, from armored vehicles, rifles, to rescue robots and drones...
